Trovare il fotografo per il giorno del proprio matrimonio non è semplice...anzi...ma quando si trova la persona giusta con cui fin da subito si entra in sintonia, beh, è come vincere al lotto. Ellen è una persona incredibile, simpatica, solare e piena di idee, sempre disponibile ad ascoltare le perplessità e sempre pronta a trovare una soluzione a tutti i problemi. Presenza silenziosa durante il matrimonio ma capace di catturare anche il più piccolo dettaglio. Il fotolibro è stato il culmine di tutto, abbiamo lavorato tanto per renderlo perfetto e grazie a lei ci siamo riusciti. Non credo proprio che ci saremmo trovati così bene con un altro forografo...è stato tutto perfetto! Ogni coppia dovrebbe avere Ellen ad immortalare i momenti importanti...è una garanzia!!

Per il reportage del nostro matrimonio, volevamo essenzialmente delle foto capaci di catturare – senza cliché o atteggiamenti impostati – il flusso di emozioni uniche che si sarebbe generato quel giorno. Ellen, muovendosi tra noi e i nostri invitati come un angelo custode, invisibile agli occhi ma sempre presente, è riuscita perfettamente a cogliere la spontaneità dei gesti, degli sguardi, dei vari momenti di festa, fermandoli in immagini che non ci stanchiamo mai di riguardare, anche a distanza di settimane da quella bellissima data. Il nostro album di nozze è il risultato di un lavoro fatto con grande serietà, passione e professionalità, in cui non ci siamo mai sentiti trattati da meri committenti di un servizio, ma come protagonisti da accompagnare con discrezione nella loro favola, cercando di capire ed interpretare al meglio i loro sentimenti. Not only did our elopement photos blow us away, but the planning process also brought us closer as a couple and heightened the excitement for that magical day. But if you’re looking for secret moments tied intimately to you as a couple that you will revisit time and time again, then wait not longer – you’ve found your match. From the moment we met Ellen on Zoom we could tell we loved her clever, funny personality…the “awesome sauce” sign offs and the “drop it like it’s hot” forms always made us smile. We genuinely looked forward to our meetings and had a blast filling out the questionaries together. Each connection point allowed her to dig into us as a couple/family, our wishes, and gave her the tools to craft the most magical experience we could have ever dreamed of. That day was brought to light in such a vibrant way with not standard wedding pics, but instead true moments capturing us as a family – silly, adventurous, and connected. Oh, and one more point to make…her adaptability. Ellen had the pleasure of shooting us as a threesome…bride, groom, and 1 year old baby girl. Having a baby can make any elopement day “up in the air.” She seamlessly worked around our daughter’s nap schedule as well as her melt down moments. Ellen also saved the day with an awesome Plan B location option when we forgot the baby carrier for our 2-hour hike. Then again, she saved the day when the groom lost the car keys…she kept the bride and baby calm, drove them back to the hotel, and returned to help the groom find the key - yippee. Ellen’s experience is extremely multifaceted. Yes, she over delivers on her photography trade and that’s why you originally hire her. But the added bag of tricks of local recommendations, vendor connections, secret locations, native heritage storytelling, and her brilliantly funny personality make the whole planning process and elopement day so much more special. We knew we hired a amazing local photographer, but in the end, we got an amazing local Ladin friend. Thank you Ellen for making our elopement exceed all of our expectations. We miss you and Colfosco!
